BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore Police Department has announced the arrest of four juveniles in connection with a carjacking incident in the Western District.
The event occurred on December 3, 2023, at around 3:40 PM. Police were called to a hospital following a report of an unarmed carjacking. A 44-year-old male, a ride-sharing app driver, had picked up a group of individuals. Upon arriving at the drop-off location in the 1000 block of Brooks Lane, he was assaulted by the suspects, who then stole his property and vehicle.
Robbery detectives initiated an investigation, leading to the identification of the four involved juveniles – two 14-year-old males and two 15-year-old males. The suspects were apprehended, arrested, and transported to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Facility (BCJJC), where they will face charges.
The police have notified the victim of the arrests. Additionally, the victim’s stolen vehicle has been recovered.
