Pedestrian Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run in Wicomico County

EDEN, MD — A serious motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian occurred on December 4 in Wicomico County. The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office reported the incident took place at the intersection of South Upper Ferry Road and Siloam Road in Eden, Maryland.

At approximately 8:03 pm, deputies and EMS were dispatched to the scene where they found Aaron Douglas III, the victim, with life-threatening injuries. Due to the severity of his injuries, Douglas was airlifted to a medical facility, where he remains in critical condition.

The driver responsible for the collision fled the scene. However, witnesses provided a description of the suspect vehicle, which was communicated to allied law enforcement agencies. Princess Anne Police Department located a vehicle matching the description shortly afterward.

The ehicle was seized for crime scene analysis as part of the ongoing investigation into this hit-and-run incident.
