QUEENS, NY – Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that Amanda Chen and Sheng Lin have been charged with multiple counts of drug possession and paraphernalia. Their Flushing penthouse apartment raid uncovered drugs worth $654,000 and $37,502 in cash.

The defendants, Chen, 39, and Lin, 42, were arraigned on various criminal possession charges and criminally using drug paraphernalia. They face substantial prison time if convicted, with Chen potentially receiving up to 20 years and Lin up to 24 years.

The charges stem from a November 28 operation. Investigators, armed with a court-authorized warrant, seized a large stash of drugs including amphetamines, MDMA, oxycodone, and psilocybin mushrooms.

The seizure also included large sums of cash and drug paraphernalia. Detective Michael Kelly of the NYPD’s Criminal Enterprise Investigation section led the investigation under the supervision of senior NYPD officials.
