WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Nathaniel Gordon, a 65-year-old Mount Vernon man, has been sentenced to seven to 14 years in state prison for committing multiple residential burglaries. This decision was announced by the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office on Thursday.

Gordon pleaded guilty to two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree on September 28. As a second felony offender, he received two consecutive terms of 3½ to seven years.

On January 3, at 11:56 am, Gordon unlawfully entered a multi-family residence on South 10th Avenue, stealing cookware and later returning for a bag of tools. His activities were recorded on a home security system.

On January 20, around 6:44 am, he broke into another home on South 7th Avenue, stealing three laptops and a bag. Security footage showed him at the scene. His arrest by the Mount Vernon Police Department followed after he was identified in the videos, wearing the same jacket seen during the burglaries.

The case was tried in Westchester County Court by Judge James McCarty and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Leigh Wellington.
