Two Suspects Charged in Oxon Hill Double Homicide

OXON HILL, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit has charged Charles Washington Jr., 31, and Antonio Jackson, 32, both from Washington DC, in a double fatal shooting that occurred in Oxon Hill in October.

The shooting took place shortly before midnight on October 3, 2023, in the 800 block of Irvington Street. Responding officers found Derrick Graham, 41, from Oxon Hill, and DeAngelo Moore, 32, from Washington DC, with gunshot wounds. Graham succumbed to his injuries at a hospital shortly after, while Moore died two days later.

Investigations revealed that Washington, Jackson, and Moore were attempting to rob Graham at gunpoint when the shooting happened. During the attempted robbery, both Moore and Graham were shot. Graham was unarmed and not known to the suspects.

Washington faces charges of first and second-degree murder and related charges, while Jackson is charged with second-degree murder. Both suspects are currently in custody in Washington, DC, awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.
