Theft at Miller's Ale House: Middletown Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Suspects

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, NY – The Middletown Township Police Department is seeking public assistance in identifying two women suspected of theft at Miller’s Ale House. A few days ago, a diner’s purse was tampered with by these suspects, resulting in the theft of both a debit and credit card.

Following the theft, the suspects promptly visited BJ’s, where they reportedly spent approximately $1,800 on gift cards and other items. Detective Morrison is leading the investigation, and the police are urging anyone who recognizes the suspects to contact the station at 215-750-3845.

The police department has issued a cautionary note, highlighting that the purse was hanging on the back of the victim’s chair when the theft occurred. The duo, believed to be experienced in such schemes, spent only about three minutes in the restaurant. One of the women reportedly concealed her actions by draping her coat over the purse while her accomplice extracted the cards.
