South River Man Charged with Sexual Assault of a Minor

FREEHOLD, NJ – Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced the arrest of 44-year-old Robert L. Wisiak from South River, a former resident of Keansburg, on charges of sexual assault of a minor dating back over two decades.

Wisiak was apprehended on October 20, 2023, by the Keansburg Police Department. He faces charges of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Minor and third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The investigation uncovered that Wisiak sexually assaulted the victim, who was under 13 years old at the time, multiple times between 1999 and 2001. Authorities are now seeking further information about Wisiak’s past activities.
