GLEN BURNIE, MD – On November 29, police arrested 19-year-old Zakai Curtis from Millersville, Maryland, following an assault involving a weapon in Glen Burnie.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. in the 6300 block of Smithy Square. Officers responding to the scene discovered Curtis in a burgundy Kia, in possession of a stolen 9mm semi-automatic handgun. Curtis, who is legally prohibited from having firearms, was apprehended and charged accordingly.
This arrest highlights the ongoing efforts of local law enforcement to address violent crime and illegal weapon possession in the region. The case is under further investigation.
