SUFFOLK COUNTY, N.Y. – Blaise Marckesano, 38, from Shirley, has been sentenced to 1 ½ to 4 ½ years in prison following a series of thefts, burglaries, and a robbery across Suffolk County.
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced the sentence.
Marckesano’s crime spree, admitted during his guilty plea, included stealing six catalytic converters from recreational vehicles, a robbery at a Deli in Shirley, and burglaries at an American Legion Post and a Home Depot store.
He was sentenced on Monday, by Supreme Court Justice Richard I. Horowitz, facing charges of Robbery in the Third Degree, Burglary in the Third Degree, and Auto Stripping in the First Degree.
He was represented by the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society.
