WOODSIDE, NY – A lucky lottery player in Woodside won a third prize in the Powerball drawing.
The New York Lottery confirmed that the winning ticket, worth $50,000, was purchased at Saanvi Food Mart, located at 6830 Roosevelt Avenue.
The Powerball numbers are selected from a pool ranging from 1 to 69, with the red Power Ball drawn from a separate set of numbers between 1 and 26. Powerball drawings take place three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights at 10:59 p.m.
