MANASQUAN, NJ – Wreaths Across America (WAA), a national nonprofit, on Monday announced a fundraising initiative in partnership with Jersey Mike’s Subs, aimed at honoring veterans.
This effort focuses on sponsoring veterans’ wreaths for Arlington National Cemetery on National Wreaths Across America Day, scheduled for Saturday, December 16.
Jersey Mike’s is contributing to WAA’s objective to place a balsam wreath at every eligible grave in Arlington National Cemetery.
For every $17 wreath sponsorship made through the WAA website dedicated to this campaign, Jersey Mike’s will match the donation, up to a total of $250,000. The deadline for these sponsorships is December 8.
Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s has supported WAA, contributing over $3.5 million. In the previous year, more than 2.7 million wreaths were placed across the country, including Arlington National Cemetery.
