Suspect Apprehended in East Pennsboro Township Assault and Standoff

EAST PENNSBORO TOWNSHIP, PA – On Thursday, the East Pennsboro Township Police Department responded to an emergency at a residence on 160 Erford Road, Camp Hill, following a 911 hang-up call at 6:57 pm.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a victim who reported being assaulted and stabbed. The suspect, who had barricaded himself inside the residence, was confrontational and threw objects at the responding officers.

After a standoff, the suspect was taken into custody at 1:24 am.

The East Pennsboro Township Police Department expressed gratitude to multiple agencies for their assistance, including officers from Camp Hill and Hampden Township.

The suspect has been arrested on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and additional offenses. He is currently awaiting preliminary arraignment.
