QUEENS, NY — A confrontation at a Queens subway station in the early hours of Saturday, November 25, resulted in a man being slashed. The incident occurred at approximately 00:10 hours at the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue JFK subway station.

The victim, a 36-year-old male, became involved in an argument with an unidentified individual on the street stairway of the station. During the dispute, the assailant slashed the victim in the leg. Following the attack, the suspect was seen fleeing into the subway station.

Authorities describe the suspect as a male, around 6 feet tall, with a dark complexion, muscular build, and a beard. He was last noted wearing a black hat, dark-colored jacket, black pants, and black shoes.

Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He was listed in stable condition. The NYPD is actively investigating the incident and seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
