YARDLEY, PA – The 700 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Giant reported a sophisticated gift card scam on Saturday, according to a report issued on Sunday.
Loss Prevention officers disclosed that two individuals were involved in placing previously stolen gift cards back on the store’s rack.
When these cards are purchased, the scammers benefit as they retain the account and PIN numbers. The ongoing investigation seeks to apprehend the individuals responsible for this fraud.
The Yardley Police Department continues to investigate the case to ensure consumer safety and prevent similar fraudulent activities.
