RIVERDALE PARK, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit (CARU) is currently investigating a tragic fatal collision that occurred outside Riverdale Elementary School in Riverdale Park on Monday, resulting in the deaths of two young students.

The victims have been identified as 10-year-old Shalom Mbah and 5-year-old Sky Sosa, both from Riverdale. Alongside the children, an adult male who was accompanying them was also struck by the vehicle. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.

The incident occurred on November 20, 2023, at approximately 8:00 am. Officers from the PGPD and the Riverdale Park Police Department responded to the scene in the 5000 block of Riverdale Road.
