Suffolk Police Officers Help Distribute Turkeys to Families

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the Suffolk County Police Department joined forces with local organizations and volunteers to distribute holiday meals to families in need.

The charitable event took place on Saturday at the Seventh Precinct, where officers from the Suffolk County Police Department, members of Seventh Precinct Community Unity, and volunteers of various ages came together for a drive-up giveaway. Participants distributed turkeys, side dishes, and desserts to those in attendance. In total, more than 750 meals were donated during this heartwarming event.

The success of the giveaway was bolstered by contributions from several local businesses. Notable donors included Daggett Management, Stop & Shop, McDonald’s, Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen, SJ Home Design, East End Sign Design, East End Screen Printing, Pro-Fit Gym, and Prime Auto Collision.

The Suffolk County Police Department expressed gratitude to everyone in the community who dedicated their time and resources to support families during the holiday season.
