Wildwoods to Sparkle with Four Festive Tree Lighting Events in December

THE WILDWOODS, NJ – The Wildwoods will welcome the holiday season with a series of four tree lighting ceremonies scheduled for December 1, 2, and 9. These events, set across the 5-mile island, promise to bring festive cheer to residents and visitors alike, featuring holiday treats, music, and photo opportunities with Santa Claus.

The festivities begin on Friday, December 1, with two ceremonies. The Downtown Wildwood Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Byrne Plaza, sponsored by the Wildwood Business Improvement District, will start at 8 p.m. Simultaneously, the Wildwood Crest Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at Sunset Lake at Atlanta and New Jersey Avenues, offering music, light refreshments, and Santa’s visit starting at 5 p.m.

Continuing the celebrations, North Wildwood will host its tree lighting on Saturday, December 2. The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Courtyard will be the venue for this event, featuring music, refreshments, lighthouse tours, and Santa Claus, starting at 5 p.m.

The series of ceremonies will conclude on Saturday, December 9, with the Wildwoods Convention Center Tree Lighting. The day-long Family Holiday Celebration at the Wildwoods Convention Center will culminate in the tree lighting at 4:30 p.m., with Santa and Mrs. Claus in attendance.
