MANHEIM, PA – On November 10th, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department (NLCRPD) officers were dispatched to a reported assault at the 1200 Block of Lancaster Road.
The incident, which occurred around 12:51 AM, involved a domestic dispute between Evelyne Claire Steffens, 62, from Willow Street, PA, and her 22-year-old boyfriend.
During the altercation, the boyfriend jumped onto the hood of Steffens’ car.
As she drove away, Steffens applied the brakes, causing him to fall and sustain a head laceration. He was later transported to a hospital for treatment of his non-life-threatening injury.
Evelyne Steffens now faces charges for Simple Assault and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. The NLCRPD is handling the ongoing investigation, and any further details will be provided as they become available.
