Fatal Pedestrian Collision in Suitland Investigated

SUITLAND, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred in Suitland.

Naseem During, a 26-year-old resident of Baltimore, was identified as the deceased victim.

The incident took place on Saturday, around 5:00 am. Officers were called to the intersection of Silver Hill Road and Navy Day Drive, where they found During in the roadway, suffering from injuries. He was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Initial findings indicate that During was struck by a vehicle in the westbound lanes of Silver Hill Road. The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene following the collision.
