WASHINGTON, D.C. – A domestic incident in Northwest D.C. led to the death of 41-year-old Travis Dash and the arrest of his 13-year-old son.
Early Sunday morning, DC Metro Police officers and Fire and EMS personnel responded to a distress call at a building in the 3100 block of 16th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Dash with puncture wounds. Dash was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation, conducted by the DC Metro Police Department’s Homicide Branch, quickly evolved into a domestic violence case. As a result, Dash’s 13-year-old son has been charged with Second Degree Murder While Armed.
