NEW YORK, NY — Two third-prize-winning tickets for Saturday’s Powerball drawing were sold in New York City according to The New York Lottery.
One of the winning tickets, valued at $50,000, was sold at Q & Q Discount, located at 80-02 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights. The other ticket, also worth $50,000, was sold at a newsstand operated by Kiritkumar Patel at 136 East 57th Street in Manhattan.
The Powerball game, known for its lucrative payouts, draws numbers from a pool ranging from one to 69, with a separate drawing for the red Power Ball from a pool of one to 26. Drawings for the Powerball are held three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m., offering multiple chances for players to win big.
