Two Suspects Charged in Fatal Annapolis Shooting

ANNAPOLIS, MD – On January 26, 2022, at approximately 9:09 pm, Annapolis Police Department officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Madison Street following a shooting report.

Upon arrival, they found Shakeo Williams, an adult female, with fatal gunshot wounds to her upper body.

Despite life-saving attempts by the Annapolis Fire Department, Williams was declared deceased at the scene.

Subsequent investigations led to the identification, charging, and arrest of two suspects: Damisi Jones, 22, and Ny’shad Snowden, 17, both residents of Annapolis.

They face multiple charges including First and Second Degree Murder, Attempted Murder, Assault, and firearms-related offenses. Currently, both are detained at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
