BRONX, NY – A 30-year-old man has been arrested in relation to two counts of assault as announced by the New York City Police Department.
Kevin Douglas of Clay Avenue was taken into custody on Wednesday, around 9:10 am.
This arrest follows the assault of a 32-year-old male MTA conductor on Thursday, November 2. The conductor was attacked at approximately 10:20 pm by an individual on the platform of the Third Avenue and East 138th Street subway station as the northbound “6” train departed.
The suspect, described as a tall male with a dark complexion, fled the scene. The conductor received treatment for minor injuries on the spot.
The Special Victims Unit is handling the case and asking anyone with additional information to reach out.
