NEWARK, NJ – On Thursday, November 3, Newark Police were alerted to credit card skimmers at a local BP gas station.

Station management found the devices during a routine inspection of the pumps.

This incident marks the second occurrence of skimming at this station, with the first case reported in March.

Investigators have issued an arrest warrant for Alex Delgado, a 21-year-old from Kissimmee, FL, on felony charges related to the use of a scanning device. Delgado’s whereabouts remain unknown.

The Newark Police ask anyone who used the station’s exterior pumps to monitor their bank statements for any signs of fraudulent activity.
