NEW YORK, NY – A significant development has emerged in the Lenox Avenue homicide case. The New York City Police Department has reported the arrest of a suspect in connection with the incident in Harlem.
Trenton Henry, a 28-year-old resident of 1960 Park Avenue, New York, NY, was apprehended on Thursday, November 9, at approximately 12:20 PM. Henry faces charges of murder and two counts of robbery.
This arrest follows an incident that occurred on September 20. At around 11:19 AM, Anthony Williams, a 65-year-old male from 629 Lenox Avenue, Manhattan, NY, was in front of a Lenox Avenue address when an assailant approached him. The suspect forcibly removed Williams’ property, and during an ensuing struggle, the suspect discharged a firearm, striking Williams in the chest. Williams was later pronounced deceased at NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem.
The investigation led to the arrest of Trenton Henry, culminating in his arrest this week.
