Stabbing Leaves One Injured at 42nd Street Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance to identify a suspect involved in an assault on a northbound “E” train on Thursday, November 2.

The incident occurred at the 8th Avenue and West 42nd Street subway station around 6:40 pm.

A 28-year-old male victim was involved in a verbal altercation with an unidentified male, who subsequently stabbed him multiple times in the torso, abdomen, and thigh.

The assailant then fled in the direction of the 42nd Street Port Authority Subway station. The victim managed to reach Hudson Regional Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male, 40 to 50 years old, with a medium complexion and build. He was last seen in a tan hoodie, white t-shirt, tan pants, white sneakers, a brown winter hat, and carrying a black book bag.
