BROOKLYN, NY — Sylvester Harris, 71, was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, felony assault, assault with intent to cause injury, and criminal possession of a weapon after a stabbing incident in Brooklyn.
On Wednesday, officers responded to a call at 1003 Willmohr Street. They found a 49-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds. A 60-year-old man was also discovered unresponsive with similar injuries. He was declared deceased at the scene, while the woman received transport to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where she is listed in stable condition.
The identity of the deceased is withheld until family members are notified. Police have not provided further details as the investigation continues.
