WASHINGTON, D.C. – Thousands of pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas protesters descended upon Washington, D.C. this week, shouting ‘death to Israel’ and ‘intifada’ as some tried to scale the fence outside the White House.

Several monuments in the nation’s capitol were desecrated with red painted hands, graffiti, and pro-Palestinian messages. At the White House, protesters taunted Secret Service agents that were providing security inside the gate.

At a Benjamin Franklin memorial, a protester climbed the statue and placed a Muslim head-covering and scarf on the monument.

Brick stanchions outside the White House were left covered in red-painted handprints. Protesters threatened and cursed at federal security agents inside the fence with vulgar slurs and often racial and religious slurs.

The next morning a Palestinian flag flew high atop a vandalized statue in Lafayette Park.

Posters with photos of children and adults were taped to the White House fence that read “Murdered by Israel”.
