Police Investigating Double Homicide in Passaic

PASSAIC, NJ – The Passaic Police, in collaboration with Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, have announced a developing investigation into a double homicide.

The incident occurred on October 28, when officers were called to the intersection of Harrison Street and Hope Avenue in the early morning hours.

Upon arrival, two gunshot victims were discovered. Edgar Guillen, a 25-year-old local resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim, 18-year-old Kyle Schneider, succumbed to his injuries days later, on November 1, at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson.

As detectives continue to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting, they are asking to the public for additional information.
