ODENTON, MD — An investigation is underway after a father and son were found dead in Odenton in an apparent murder-suicide. The Western District police responded to a call on November 1 at the 500 block of Retreat Court at around 9:50 a.m.
Upon arrival, a 34-year-old man, later identified as Steven Michael Nabakowski, was found with gunshot wounds. Further information led authorities to Fort George G. Meade Army installation, where Jack Michael Nabakowski, Steven’s father, was found deceased with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
While the motive is still being investigated, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore is set to determine the final cause and manner of death. The release of the names followed the notification to the next of kin.
