Philadelphia Man Arrested for Plumsteadville McDonald’s Robbery

PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA – The Plumstead Township Police Department reported the arrest of 63-year-old Aaron Pippen of Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 1st, following a felony robbery at the Plumsteadville McDonald’s on June 22.

Officials state that Pippen entered the McDonald’s around 10:47 PM, threatening an employee and demanding money.

Pippen, accused of taking approximately $550 from the restaurant, was identified using video surveillance and license plate recognition technology.

The robbery, which provoked terroristic threats, did not result in any injuries.

Arraigned before Judge Gary Gambardella, Pippen’s bail was set at $5 million, 10 percent. Charges include Robbery, Terroristic Threats, Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property. Pippen awaits his preliminary hearing, scheduled for November 13th at 10:00 a.m.
