Edgewood Man Arrested for Royal Farms Armed Robbery

EDGEWOOD, MD – Early this morning, James Vidal Favors, 31, of Edgewood, was charged by Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division detectives for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery at Royal Farms.

On Monday, deputies from the Southern Precinct responded to a robbery call at the establishment on Joppa Farm Road in Joppa around 4:46 a.m.

Two masked suspects had entered, brandished a firearm, demanded money, and fled with an undisclosed sum. There were no injuries reported.

Investigators, aided by the Forensic Services Unit, gathered critical evidence at the scene, leading to the identification and apprehension of Favors. He was arrested on Wednesday, by the Warrant Apprehension Unit and is currently held without bond at Harford County Detention Center.
