ANNAPOLIS, MD – A teen reported he was robbed at gunpoint while getting cash from an ATM at a bank in Annapolis on Halloween.

On October 31, at 9:25 p.m., Annapolis officers received an urgent alert from a young adult victim on the 100 block of Jennifer Road. The 18-year-old male recounted that, while approaching his car after withdrawing money from the Wells Fargo Bank ATM at 171 Jennifer Road, an unidentified male sprinted towards him, menacingly waving a handgun.

Reacting swiftly, the victim, along with his associates, scrambled into the car and sped away. Despite the assailant aiming his weapon at the retreating vehicle and yelling for them to halt, the driver continued to distance himself from the threat. The perpetrator subsequently made his escape.

Despite their efforts, officers did not manage to apprehend the suspect. The individual is described as a Black male in his 20s, with curly hair, glasses, garbed in a gray sweatshirt, black trousers, and a beanie. The Southern District detectives have taken over the case and are urging anyone with pertinent details to contact 410-222-1960 or the Anne Arundel County Police tip line at 410-222-4700.
