One Injured in Cambridge Shooting

CAMBRIDGE, MD – A Sunday night shooting in Cambridge left one individual injured. At approximately 10:30 p.m., police responded to reports of gunshots on the 700 block of Foxtrail Drive.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence of a shooting incident, with the back door of a residence shot out and multiple shell casings around.

The 39-year-old male victim suffered a gunshot wound to his left ankle/foot and was taken to TidalHealth in Salisbury with non-critical injuries.

Two suspects, both dressed in black and masked, were reported—one armed with a handgun and the other with a rifle.

The incident is believed to be isolated, and the police have confirmed there is no immediate threat to the public. Individuals with any knowledge about the shooting are asked to contact the police at 410-222-3333.
