Teen Treated to Free Jail Halloween Costume After Carjacking Spree Ended by Police

WASHINGTON, DC — A series of carjackings across the nation’s capital has culminated in the apprehension of a 15-year-old boy from Northeast, D.C. The Metro Police Department confirmed the arrest of the teenager, who is now facing multiple charges about the four separate incidents that rattled various neighborhoods.

The juvenile is accused of initiating his spree with an unarmed carjacking late last Friday night in the vicinity of Kentucky Avenue, Southeast. Subsequent armed carjackings are attributed to him, with the second occurring early last Sunday morning on F Street, Northeast, and the third later that evening along Benning Road. The most recent charge stems from an incident in the early hours of Thursday on Southern Avenue, Southeast.
