BOWIE, MD – A late August assault that left a 53-year-old man severely injured has turned fatal, prompting the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit to take over the investigation.

Millard Noack, Jr., the victim, succumbed to his injuries on October 27. Authorities are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment.

On August 29, Bowie Police responded to an 8:35 pm call at the 7000 block of Race Track Road. They found Noack unresponsive in the street, suffering from head trauma. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. An autopsy confirmed that blunt force trauma was the cause of death, and authorities have ruled the incident a homicide.

Initial findings from the investigation indicate that an unidentified suspect struck Noack, causing critical injuries to his head before fleeing the scene. The motive for the assault remains under investigation.

The Prince George’s County Police Department handles all homicide investigations within the city of Bowie. Those with information on the case can contact the Homicide Unit at 301-516-2512.
