ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — A two-month investigation by the Atlantic City Police Department led to the arrest of Muhammad Griffin and the recovery of a loaded gun, cocaine, ecstasy, and other items.
On October 26, detectives with the Special Investigations Section executed court-authorized search warrants on a residence and a vehicle. Griffin, the investigation target, was arrested after being stopped in his car in the 2100 block of north Missouri Avenue.
A search of both the vehicle and residence resulted in the discovery of narcotics, a loaded handgun, paraphernalia for drug distribution, and cash.
Detective Eric Evans spearheaded the operation.
Griffin, 41, a resident of Atlantic City, faces multiple charges, including unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, and money laundering.
