NEWARK, N.J. – U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced that Kenneth Graham, 50, from Newark, has been sentenced to 330 months in prison.

This sentencing follows Graham’s involvement in a gunpoint robbery at a cell phone store in East Orange, New Jersey in January 2021.

On Monday, January 18, 2021, surveillance captured Graham brandishing a firearm at a store employee, demanding cash and cell phones.

The footage later showed Graham leaving the scene in a black Nissan Altima. Subsequent evidence, including cell phone records and photographs, linked Graham to the crime.

Judge William J. Martini, who oversaw Graham’s trial, finalized the sentencing on Tuesday, in the Newark federal court. Additionally, Graham has been ordered to pay $2,773 in restitution.
