Lenue Moore of 430 West 163rd Street was arrested on Thursday, October 26, at 23:10 hours. Moore faces multiple charges, including two counts of murder for multiple victims, two counts of murder, four counts of criminal possession of a loaded firearm, aggravated criminal contempt, and two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.
The arrest comes nearly a month after police responded to 911 calls reporting persons shot at West 165 Street and Edgecombe Avenue on Friday, September 29, at 18:31 hours.
Officers arriving at the scene found Jacqueline Billini, a 57-year-old female residing at 430 West 163 Street, and Levaughn Harvin, a 42-year-old male from 1001 Saint Nicholas Avenue, lying unconscious and unresponsive on the ground. Both had gunshot wounds to their heads. EMS transported both victims to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where they were pronounced dead.
Ballistic evidence was recovered at the scene of the incident. The investigation led to the arrest of Moore, who now faces a series of serious charges.
