CAMP LEJEUNE, NC — Sgt. Jonathon Fehr of the U.S. Marine Corps, who is under scrutiny for a TikTok video in which he discusses burying a man’s body, asserts that the video portrays a work of fiction.

The video, widely circulated, shows Fehr appearing inebriated while recounting a story about burying a “random biker dude” at an out-of-service landing zone at Camp Lejeune. Fehr recently claimed in an interview that his ex-wife posted the footage without the full story or proper context.

Fehr told Raleigh-based NBC affiliate WRAL that he knew who posted the video. “In the back of my mind, I was like, I know who posted this,” said Fehr.

According to Fehr, the video dates back approximately four years. He pointed out that he had hair in the video, while he is currently bald, as evidence of the video’s age.
