BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ — Ryan McDonald, 33, has been charged with three counts of Bias Intimidation, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and two counts of Criminal Mischief, following incidents that unfolded at a 7-11 store in Brick Township on October 24, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief at the convenience store on Mantoloking Road at approximately 2:00 p.m. An investigation revealed that McDonald became agitated with customers inside the store.

He left the store, retrieved a knife from his vehicle, and proceeded to stab the tire of one customer’s car.

McDonald then approached another vehicle and punctured its two tires, while using racial slurs. An older female and a child were in the vehicle at the time. McDonald then fled the scene.

Brick Township Police later located McDonald in the surrounding area and arrested him without incident.

He is currently held at the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
