CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – On Friday, a jury found William Bradford Ross guilty of numerous offenses, including Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child Less than 16, Statutory Sexual Assault, and others.
Testimonies during the two-day trial unveiled that Ross had moved to the Shippensburg area and ingratiated himself with a neighboring family, focusing particularly on their 15-year-old daughter. This resulted in Ross engaging in various forms of sexual acts with the minor.
The investigation into Ross commenced when an associate of the victim discovered about the inappropriate relationship, which started when the victim was 15 and Ross was 30.
The associate also learned of child abuse material present on Ross’ phone. The Pennsylvania State Police, led by Trooper Jacob Fackler, uncovered substantial evidence supporting the victim’s claims and additionally found videos on Ross’ device depicting child abuse.
Ross had previously admitted to child [censored]ography charges. Senior Assistant District Attorney Lauren Perchinski prosecuted the cases, with sentencing for Ross scheduled on January 2, 2024, before Judge Peck.
