CLAYMONT, DE – A 22-year-old Beverly City man, Knowah Crowderparham, has entered a guilty plea in connection to a fatal shooting incident that took place in Willingboro in 2022.
The news was announced by Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw.
The incident dates back to February 11, 2022, when Willingboro Township Police Department officers were dispatched to Kennedy Plaza on the 400 block of John F. Kennedy Way following a shooting report around 7:30 p.m. The officers discovered the body of 19-year-old Adam Janson in the parking lot in front of a pizza shop.
Investigations disclosed that Crowderparham and an associate had arranged to meet with Janson at the specified location. Janson was shot by Crowderparham as he attempted to exit their vehicle after he had entered it upon arrival.
Yesterday, under an accord with the Prosecutor’s Office, Crowderparham pleaded guilty to Aggravated Manslaughter (First Degree) and Hindering Apprehension (Third Degree). This plea, entered before the Hon. Terrence R. Cook, P.J.Cr., at the Superior Court in Mount Holly, comes with a stipulation of a 17-year prison term. The sentencing has been scheduled for December 8.
After the incident, Crowderparham was reported to have returned to his residence and cleaned the vehicle involved.
