NEW YORK, NY – A woman who was violently shoved to the ground, striking her head on the pavement below, has been admitted to an area hospital in critical condition.
The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect identified in connection with the violent assault.
According to official NYPD communications, the event took place in Midtown. The incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 12:00 p.m. on the southbound E-Train Platform.
A 30-year-old female victim was forcibly shoved by the suspect while standing on the platform.
The individual, identified as 39-year-old Sabir Jones, immediately fled the scene on foot, exiting the turnstiles at West 53rd Street and 5th Avenue. The victim has sustained head trauma and is presently in critical condition.
