Surveillance Cameras Capture Person Of Interest In Murder of 16-Year-Old In D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The D.C. Metro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a person of interest in connection to a shooting that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old male.

Officers responded to the 2300 block of Green Street in Southeast D.C. on September 25th at approximately 3:38 p.m., following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Jamal Jones suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Surveillance cameras captured a person of interest in the case.
