Stray Dog Found Near Racquet Club Apartments

Middletown Township, PA — A young female dog was found near the Racquet Club Apartments and is currently being held at Middletown Township Police Department headquarters. The dog was discovered yesterday and is described as wearing a camouflage collar. Notably, she does not have a microchip.

“If you know anything about this beautiful young lady, we urge you to get in touch with us,” said Middletown Township Police Department in a Facebook post. “She’ll be here at our 5-star accommodations eating all the snacks until we can find her rightful owner.”

Authorities are asking residents to call the Middletown Township Police Department at 215-949-1000 and speak with Animal Control Officer Keen if they have any information related to the stray dog.

The department added in a lighter tone, “There’s no rush. She’s got some gains to work on, obviously.”

While microchipping pets can greatly expedite the process of reuniting lost animals with their owners, this particular dog was not microchipped, making it more challenging to identify her owner promptly. Police are hopeful that someone will recognize the dog and help her return home soon.
