CAMDEN, NJ – Democrats in New Jersey have done a bad job at vetting candidates in their upcoming November election. One such candidate paying the price for his hidden and seedy past is John Burzichelli, who is running against trucker Ed Durr.
Durr upset South Jersey Democrat party boss Steve Sweeney.
Now, Democrats have launched an unrelenting attack against Durr, but Durr shot back in the form of a commercial connecting Burzichelli’s production of a gay burlesque film called “Ladies Night Out” produced in 1983.
Durr said the motive behind Burzichelli’s support of keeping parents out of the dark about their children’s gender and sexual orientation in public schools now makes sense.
“A career politician moonlighting as an X-rated movie producer,” the ad says. “When John Burzichelli isn’t raising your taxes, he making x-rated movies. Maybe that’s why he thought it was a good idea to keep parents in the dark and teach first graders sex ed.”
The ad references an article published earlier this year on Shore News Network.
