Annapolis, MD – A concerning incident unfolded on October 13, 2023, at around 4:30 p.m. at the Wells Fargo branch located at 171 Jennifer Road in Annapolis. Authorities reported that an armed robbery took place at the bank’s exterior ATM.

Anne Arundel County police said that upon their arrival, they learned from the male victim that he was using the ATM when he was confronted by an unidentified assailant. According to the victim, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded his belongings before fleeing the scene.

“Upon arrival, officers learned the male victim was using the exterior ATM when he was approached by an unknown suspect, who produced a handgun, demanded the victim’s property, and fled the area,” said the department said in their official press release.

Despite immediate efforts to locate the suspect, law enforcement officers were unable to apprehend the individual. A search was conducted in the vicinity of the Wells Fargo branch, but the suspect remains at large.

Southern District detectives have taken charge of the ongoing investigation and are urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in identifying the suspect.
