Queens, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to an attempted burglary that took place in Queens. The incident occurred on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, around 6:00 p.m. at a commercial building located at 219-02 Northern Boulevard.
According to police reports, an unknown individual approached the building and attempted to manipulate a locked door. While the person was unable to gain entry, the failed break-in resulted in damage to the door. The individual fled the scene on foot in an unidentified direction. Fortunately, no property was stolen and no injuries have been reported.

In their official statement, the NYPD mentioned, “It was reported to police that on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at approximately 1800 hours, an unknown individual approached a commercial building located 219-02 Northern Boulevard. The individual tried to manipulate a locked door but was unsuccessful.”
