Newark Police Seek Public's Help in Locating Missing 17-Year-Old Aaliyah Bryant

The Newark Department of Public Safety is asking for the public’s assistance in finding 17-year-old Aaliyah Bryant, who has been missing since August 30, 2023. Aaliyah was last seen leaving her residence on the 100 block of Chancellor Avenue on August 29.

Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé made an appeal for information, describing Aaliyah as a frequent runaway. She was last seen wearing a long white t-shirt, black leggings, and carrying a cross-body bag. Aaliyah stands 5’3″ tall, weighs 300 pounds, and has brown eyes, blonde hair, and a light skin complexion. She also has a silver nose piercing.

In addition to her physical description, it’s important to note that Aaliyah has been diagnosed with Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Director Fragé urges anyone with information regarding Aaliyah’s whereabouts to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
